ANIMAL CRUELTY: Frank Hill, 60, and Hazel Hill, 69, of Park Hill Lodge, Spennymoor, have pleaded not guilty to six charges of causing unnecessary suffering to dogs and one charge of failing in a duty to ensure an animal’s welfare. Emma McGough, 29, of Bransdale, Spennymoor, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing unnecessary suffering to a dog. They face a three day trial which stars at Darlington Magistrates Court on Monday, October 7.
