COURT DATE: Great Aycliffe town councillor Irene Hewitson, 55, of Rowan Place, Newton Aycliffe, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of using threatening words or behaviour in Newton Aycliffe. Jade Hewitson, 20, of Rowan Place, and Jenna Eastland, 27, of Rowan Place, have both also denied the same charge which dates from June 16. They will appear at Newton Aycliffe magistrates Court on January 29 for a trial.
