A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was left with a fractured skull after being hit by a double-decker bus yesterday, Monday, September 30.
The collision involved the boy and a bus on The Rings at the junction with Queen Elizabeth Way in Ingleby Barwick at around 3.45pm,
The child was detained at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and a police spokeswoman said he is currently in a “satisfactory” condition.
Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Martin Murphy from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference number 173803.
