HUMMERSKNOTT Academy students can now work at being multi-lingual thanks to the introduction of an innovative learning programme.
The Darlington school has acquired the Rosetta Stone language package which gives students the chance to independently learn 25 different languages.
The package will enhance and support the teaching of the six languages currently taught to GCSE level at the school, while enabling students to continue their learning at home.
Students will also have the opportunity to explore the other languages on offer by the package.
Debbie Wells, assistant principal, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a new way of language learning. The package will enhance and extend their learning in school and open up a wider range of languages for them to explore.”
