HISTORY CLUB: Expert Jo Bath will discuss North East Witchcraft at the next meeting of Wheatley Hill History Club. The talk takes place on Wednesday, September 25, in Wheatley House, Woodlands Avenue, in Wheatley Hill starting at 7pm. Admission is £2, including refreshments and raffle tickets, and is open to non-members.
COUNCILLORS’ SURGERY: Durham County Councillors Audrey Laing and Harry Bennett, will hold an hour-long ward surgery at East Durham Trust Offices Peterlee, on Tuesday, September 24, starting at 6pm.
