It’s fascinating to hear Peacock’s double bass in a different context with pianist Marilyn Crispell in a programme of compositions and improvisations by each of them.
There are many beautiful moments here, on a very thoughtful and lyrical programme which includes blues, ballads, a waltz and a lullaby.
