TWO passengers threatened a bus driver and forced him to hand over cash.
The bus was travelling from Bishopthorpe village, York, towards the city centre at 10.20pm, on Tuesday, when it stopped near the College of Law, in Bishopthorpe Road.
Two men on board went to get off and threatened the driver with an unknown implement. They demanded he hand over money and made off with the cash.
No other passengers were on board at the time.
The first man was black, in his 20s, about 5ft 10in and of a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up and a dark puffer-style jacket.
The second man was white, in his mid 30s, 6ft 2in and of a medium build. He had a shaven head and was wearing a bleached denim jacket with a distinctive Union Flag badge on the upper left sleeve.
