YOUNGSTERS will be able to see a modern version of the classic fairytale Little Red Riding Hood performed by puppets this week.
Little Red . . . You Know Who! is being staged by Freehand Theatre, one of the UK's leading touring puppet theatre companies, and is aimed at children aged three to seven.
The show is part of the Elements Touring Scheme, which brings professional arts events to more than 20 venues across County Durham including village halls, community centres, schools and arts centres.
The project is funded by Durham County Council, Arts Council England North-East and Chester-le-Street, Derwentside, Easington, Sedgefield and Wear Valley district councils.
