A MAN has appeared in court charged with wounding with intent and producing a class B drug.
Dean Philip Hansom of Church Street, Howden-le-Wear, near Crook, is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded a man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on February 2.
He is also charged with producing 89 cannabis plants in Howden-le-Wear on February 3.
The 27-year-old appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court in County Durham today (Tuesday, April 16) and the case was committed to Durham Crown Court.
He was granted conditional bail until his next court appearance on May 2.
