Police probe tools theft

POLICE are investigating the theft of tools and equipment from a car firm.

The items were stolen in Sacriston Lane, Sacriston over the weekend of February 16 and 17.

A yellow De Walt "flipover" saw bench, a green Ryobi angle grinder, two green Bosch heat guns, a red Mactool jump pack, a black car polisher and a red two-stroke petrol generator were taken from a workshop at R Harold Car and Commercials and a static caravan on land known as the vegetable oil warehouse.

Witnesses should call PC Ian Choake at Chester-le-Street police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
