A DATE has been set for the trial of a man accused of murdering his neighbour at a block of flats.
Robert Baker today denied the killing of John Coates when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.
Mr Coates, 61, was found dead at his home in Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, last September.
He had been reported missing after failing to turn up for work at a Poundland store in the town centre.
Mr Baker, 24, of Cargo Fleet Lane, was told he will stand trial for three weeks from early March.
He was remanded in custody by Judge Simon Bourne-Arton, QC, until then.
