A COUNTY Durham man convicted of stealing medication from a friend’s home has appeared before magistrates.
Benjamin Luke Clish, of Brockett Close, Newton Aycliffe, originally denied the offence, which took place between April 29 and May 9 last year.
He was found guilty at a trial on December 18 and the case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
At Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today (Monday, January 14), the 20-year-old was sentenced to nine months probation supervision and was ordered to pay £150 prosecution costs.
