SCHOOLS have just a few days left to sign up for a world record attempt.
Charity Sign Health is hoping to break the world record for the most people singing and deaf signing a song simultaneously on Wednesday, February 6.
But schools wanting to take part in the sign2sing stunt must register their interest by Wednesday, January 23.
More than 900 schools across the country, including three in the Durham area, have already done so.
Participants will be invited to make a £1 donation to Sign Health.
The song to be sung has been specially composed for the event and is titled sign2sing.
The current world record is 114,277, set during last year’s sign2sing event.
