Views sought on Teesside's rivers and becks
4:55pm Thursday 10th January 2013 in News By Joanna Morris
TEESSIDE residents can have their say on the future of the rivers and becks in the area.
The Tees Catchment Plan, a consultation exercise which will shape the management and development of the area’s waterways, is now underway.
The public is being asked to submit their views on local stretches of water and the areas around them. Comments are being sought on what works well and what improvements could be made.
The local community is also being asked to share their memories of the rivers and becks.
A series of consultation events will be held across the area and will feature workshop activities aimed at ensuring everyone has an opportunity to express their ideas and opinions.
