Dog rescued from river at Barnard Castle

FIREFIGHTERS from Barnard Castle and Bishop Auckland were called to the Tees after a dog was reported in the river.
The incident happened in the river at the Demesnes, Barnard Castle, at about 3.50pm on Sunday.
Two appliances from Barnard Castle and the boat rescue unit from Bishop Auckland rescued the dog.
