A COMMUNITY centre will be running a range of courses in the New Year to help people gain new skills.
Willington Community Action Centre will host the courses starting in January.
The centre on Willington High Street will run workshops in construction skills, first aid, nail art, food safety, teaching assistance and counselling.
There will also be courses in health and social care, paediatric first aid, customer service, manual handling, personal development, computing skills, cake decorating and floristry.
The cost of the courses are around £23 on average however if people are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance then the courses will be free of charge.
