EVERYTHING from to jewellery to jam will be on sale at a showcase event for local businesses.

Made In Durham takes place at County Hall, in Durham City on Wednesday (December 5) where businesses from across the country will be displaying their wares.

About 30 stalls featuring arts and crafts and other local businesses will attend the event, organised by Business Durham.

Stewart Watkins, Managing Director, Business Durham, said: "It follows our highly successful first-ever Made in Durham event in January this year and is a wonderful way to promote the County Durham brand and illustrate the quality and range available."

Admission is free and exhibitors will make a donation to the charities Cardiac Risk in the Young and the Royal British Legion.

Made in Durham runs from 9am to 3pm, with children able to meet Santa between 11am and 2pm.
