A CHURCH will hold a Christmas fair to boost its coffers.
The event at South Church Methodist Church, on Priory Grove, Bishop Auckland, will by opened by Durham County Councillor Dorothy Burn on Saturday November 17, at 2.30pm.
Admission is free and money raised by various stalls and refreshments on sale will go towards church funds.
COFFEE EVENING: St James Church, Coundon, will hold a coffee evening including the sale of Christmas decorations on Tuesday, November 13, 7pm, at 15 Victoria Lane, Coundon. Entry by donation, proceeds in aid of the church.
