It’s been a year since husband and wife team Christina and Craig Easton converted Saltburn’s old Post Office into an artisan interior destination, and already they’re moving up a level – quite literally – to provide even more interior inspiration.
The first floor at LillianDaph now houses bedding, sofas, side tables, lighting, rugs, cushions and throws – “anything that falls under the Relaxing and Retreating label,” says Christine. “That will leave us more room on the ground floor to concentrate on Living and Entertaining – think dining, tableware, books, scents, rugs and lighting.”
From the start, Christina has made it her mission to champion the skill involved in good design and beautiful artisan homewares, many made locally, bringing them together to create a great shopping experience.
“It’s been the dream since day one to make full use of the four-storey Victorian building we’re in,” she says. “We dreamed of filling the first floor with more stock and inspiration and our first birthday seemed like the perfect marker for the occasion.
