What was your first car?
A red Fiat 127.
What do you remember about it?
I used to drive it to do jingles in Stockport. The engine was so loud that I had to sing really loudly over it. It cos £400.
How many times did it take to pass your test?
Four! I was taught by a driving instructor called Sheila, I think. She used to teach soldiers to drive tanks in the Army and she had a sausage dog called Sally Ann. I once did an emergency stop and the dog went flying.
Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?
Steve McQueen - I’d be in Bullitt with him.
What is your dream car?
I don't have a dream car. I like to get a taxi or train. I keep my driveway free for my friends.
How would you describe your driving style?
Completely aggressive that's why I no longer drive.
Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?
In Ireland once a woman in a 4x4 reversed into me. I got out and confronted her and asked her why she'd done it, and she said she couldn't see very well!
What are you listening to?
Laura Mvula, I think she's fantastic.
What do you drive now?
I don't. Well I drive people mad.
