Michael Higginbottom
I BELIEVE that the comments made by Darlington councillor Cyndi Hughes about Father Michael Higginbottom after he was found guilty of sexual abuse to be inappropriate for any elected person.
Stating she is very sad that Fr Michael has been going through this ordeal for 13 years is incredible. He has been the reason for this delay by not admitting his guilt.
The victim has been going through it for longer and will undoubtedly continue to suffer.
