IT is unusual for me to agree with Darlington’s Labour Member of Parliament.

However, in respect of Darlington Memorial Hospital (DMH) she is correct in questioning the cloudy aspirations of the hospital managers.

When the trust was first formed there was concern over the future of DMH and this has not diminished despite assurance after assurance.

So here we are again and what to do?

DMH is the Darlington hospital which caters for more than 100,000 townsfolk alone, if any amalgamations are required they should be inward and not exported elsewhere.
