Northern Echo Camera Club member Andrew Lindley took this picture of this eye-catching roadside sculpture in Middridge.
Andrew explained: "He was one of three sculptures created by Greenfield Community Arts College students in 2015 as part of a road safety awareness scheme. The other two sculptures, a women and a policeman have since vanished."

The club meets every month at The Northern Echo's head office, in Priestgate, Darlington.
The next meeting is on Tuesday March 1, at 7pm.
The Northern Echo's photographic co-ordinator Sarah Caldecott will be announcing the winner of the picture of the month competition.
The photographer who takes the winning shot receives a cheque for £50 and a magnificent super-sized canvas print of their image.
