RE reports about the possibility of homes being demolished under plans being drawn up by Darlington Borough Council (Echo, some editions, May 1).
My home of 55 years is in the area that has been mentioned. This is the third time in my lifetime that the council has made this same threat.
Do they not realise what effect this has on people's morale ("We may, or may not, knock your house down)?
I say the council should put up or shut up.
