I’M sure that most politicians would love a one party state, as long as it was their party, and David Cameron is no exception.
The tragedy is that the way the Labour Party is going this may well take place.
The in-fighting between right and left wings and the possible election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader may make this inevitable.
Why are politicians so reluctant to learn from the past? Michael Foot, Neil Kinnock and Ed Miliband all lost elections. Tony Blair won them, taking both England and Scotland with him.
