Running into bother
ON Saturday morning, heading to Spennymoor on the A688 close to the Half Moon roundabout, we were amazed to see a young jogger running on the road with his back to the traffic, wearing earphones.
If his parents, family or friends, recognise or suspect who it could be, please have a strong word about his behaviour and advise him to always run facing the traffic, preferably on the pavement or footpath.
It could just save his life.
