I READ Malcolm Rolling's letter about Darlington biker, Jungle (HAS, June 22). I say let the man rest in peace.
I had known him for 47 years, he was a gentle and loving man who did a lot for charity.
As to bikers who didn't wear helmets, come on, it was showing respect for him.
As you know we all have different chapters in our lives - if you had known him you would not have written this. So let it go and let people remember as they want to.
Sandra Willis (nee Watson), one of the early gang, Darlington.
