SO the National Lottery company, Camelot, has come up with a new system to make it even harder to win any money by increasing the number of balls from 49 to 59. This is an insult to consumers.

Camelot claims the number of prizes will be increased but the chances of winning the jackpot are seriously diminished.

I class myself as a modest investor but my total winnings for this year amounts to £25. It doesn't take a genius to work out what's in store for the next six months.

I realise you can still live the dream of a jackpot win but I'm afraid we are again lining the pockets of the Camelot directors and the charities they support.

I really feel Camelot are going to the well too often and people will give up on this avenue of pleasure.

I think I will stick to my bets on the horses and enjoy much greater success.
