IF John Leathley, the Ukip candidate for Sedgefield, wants to talk honesty and straight answers (HAS, Apr 21), then he should start by explaining why he is running for two different seats at the same time – and hoping to walk away with just one.
Voters deserve a MP dedicated to them and not out looking for extra jobs before they get one. Running for Parliament is not a game or crap shoot, but a privilege. He should re-think his priorities. I’m deeply unimpressed.
Thom Brooks, Sedgefield.
