NO one can dispute that Dryburn House is an eyesore on our attractive Durham Hospital site.
I suggest that spending a couple of million on it would bring it up to an acceptable standard to give the extra accommodation seriously needed by existing cramped departments in the rest of the hospital.
This leaves around £18-20m to update and equip the existing first-class modern buildings at Bishop Auckland.
I feel this plan would appeal to the majority of the people served by these two hospitals.
