SIR JOHN HALL has expressed support for the County Durham Plan (although he lives outside the county concerned) and, therefore, perhaps he could help the plan by building a large estate of affordable housing on his lovely estate.
To many, this would be more worthy than building luxury homes for millionaire footballers or a hospital that nobody without a car can get to.
With net immigration into this country out of control, we will need all the houses we can get and after all, its only our countryside which is disappearing - so bring on the bulldozers Sir John.
