EVERYONE knows how desperate this Government is in its attempt to buy votes but now it is actually resorting to out-and-out bribery with its threat to cancel the contract for the building of the three naval vessels on the river Clyde if Scotland vote yes for independence.
Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has said that UK warships are only built in UK shipyards.
If that is the case, the accomplishments of British sea history will have to be rewritten.
Just in case he has forgotten, the Tories closed down all of the English shipyards which means that all future contracts will have to go abroad.
Desperate measures by a desperate man.
