I love my job because of the people I meet. Today I went to Kirk Merrington Primary School in County Durham to do a story-writing workshop and met eight-year old Jessica Barton.
Jessica had lovely, long brown hair, but she chose to have it cut off after hearing how some children need wigs because they have cancer and go bald.
Jessica's hair will go to the Little Princess Trust to help make a wig for a child who needs it. She also raised £150 by having her hair cut short - but I'm pretty sure that those who know her think she's more lovely than ever.
What do you reckon?
