The way to an editor's heart is through his stomach - and the pupils of New Marske Primary School appear to know that all too well.
I was thrilled this morning to receive a pile of letters from Year Three pupils who have been reading my Monstrous Morals books - Fartin Martin Sidebottom, Black-toothed Ruth Black, and Fidgety Bridget Wrigglesworth.
They've written some lovely comments and drawn some wonderful pictures (see the example above from Maisie Welsh) and asked if I'll visit the school.
Matthew Atkinson wrote: "If you come to our school, we will be well behaved and we will give you biscuits and drinks."
Well that's it then - I'm on my way to New Marske!
P.S They'd better be custard creams...
