AMOTHER has been mocked for spending over £1,000 on dress, makeup and car for 11-year-old daughter’s primary school prom.
Don’t blame her, daft though she may be. The blame must rest firmly with the primary school head and governors who thought it was a good idea to have such an over the top event – tickets £15 each before you start – for such young children.
Bad enough to face such pressure when you’re 16 or 18. Appalling to have to cope when you’re only 11.
What on earth was the school thinking of ?
