ACTRESS Brooke Kinsella has been an avid campaigner against knife crime since the death of her half-brother in 2008, so it is little wonder she has signed up to front this particularly emotive documentary.
She explores the concept of restorative justice, which is now being used by police services, courts and prisons across the country to deal with youth offences.
In some cases, it is used as an alternative to sending a young person to prison.
But what of its flaws?
She is keen to find out what happens when offenders come face-to-face with their victims, and chats to a woman who agreed to meet her rapist, a mother whose son was killed in a drink-drive accident and a lady who met her brother’s murderer.
And the programme looks even deeper into restorative justice by shadowing Greater Manchester Police.
