ONCE again the public turned out in their thousands to watch the magnificent vehicles of yesteryear take part in the annual Beamish Reliability Run.
Why does The Northern Echo no longer provide us readers with a double page spread of information about the vehicles and their owners as you did when you sponsored the event?
It stands to reason that a large swathe of your readership is very interested in this event and it would be more appropriate to give that type of information again rather than the derisory half page shown in Saturday’s edition. Local people prefer better coverage of local events rather than national and global issues.
