'TROUBLEMAKER' Olly Murs played his first of what will be a two night performance at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena and it was nothing short of spectacular.

The cheeky pop sensation banished everyone's Monday blues with an energetic and charismatic performance that had the crowd in a trance from beginning to end, teasing the crowd with his boyish charm and flirtatious dancing.

Murs teased fans with a countdown on the screens before appearing, arms outstretched to welcome his adoring Geordie crowd.

Kicking the night off with 'You Don't Know Love' from his fifth studio album '24 HRS' which was released late last year, Murs had fans jumping to the catchy pop melody as he covered every inch of the stage which he shared with his band and backing singers.

After indulging the crowd with his seductive dancing Murs took fans back to 2011 with catchy pop hit 'Heart Skips A Beat' before reminiscing with songs such as 'Dear Darlin' and 'Troublemaker'.

The Essex singer who kicked off his tour with a two night stint in Glasgow expressed his love for the North East both on Twitter beforehand and during his show, quoting "You know I love coming to the North East, you guys are brilliant. So it's an absolute pleasure to be here tonight".

Olly concluded the spectacular show with 'Kiss Me' and 'Years And Years' before everyone took a bow and what a well deserved bow it was! The show from start to finish was filled with energy, passion and showmanship from the singer who got his break on the X Factor back in 2009.
