HE’S already torched Frank Butcher’s car lot in EastEnders and now Eddy Brimson joins ace Canadian John Hastings, hotly-tipped scouser Simon Wozniak and popular MC Danny McLoughlin at Stockton’s Catch 22 Comedy Club at Arc on Friday, November 25.

Peter Vincent of promoters Ten Feet Tall, who work alongside Arc to bring the popular monthly gig to town, says: “We’ve had some absolutely belting sell-out gigs these last few months at Catch 22, and we’re looking forward to another top Friday night here.

“Danny McLoughlin is one of our favourite MC’s, and it’s easy to see why Eddy Brimson is one of the most in-demand headliners up and down the land.”

Shappi Khorsandi is bringing her new show Oh My Country: From Morris Dancing to Morrissey (plus support) to The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle, on Sunday, December 11. Doors open: 7pm, show starts at 8.30pm

Shappi is celebrating the 40th anniversary of her arrival in Britain. She's reclaiming patriotism, sending a love letter to her adopted land but says: "Please don’t come if you’re a skinhead (though naturally bald folk are welcome)."

She's starred in Live At the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Have I Got News for You and QI. Shappi is also the best-selling author of A Beginners Guide to Acting English and her debut novel Nina is not OK was published by Ebury in July. She was also recently elected president of the British Humanist society.

Chris Ramsey will include the MetroRadio Arena, Newcastle, in his latest tour on Saturday, May 6. When not discussing I'm A Celebrity issues on ITV, the South Shields comic has been seen on BBC sitcom Hebburn, The Royal Variety Performance, Celebrity Juice, Live At The Apollo and in far too many newspapers when he was wrongly arrested in a hotel in his underpants.

He's also due to host The Chris Ramsey Show, a unique and high energy comedy entertainment eight-part series for Comedy Central UK in January. He's also busy presenting I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp on ITV2 alongside Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash.
