Dragon to invade Stockton's Preston Park Museum
BLUNDERBUS Theatre Company are visiting Preston Park Museum and grounds, in Stockton, on Sunday, July 24 July at 4.30pm with a new show called Dotty the Dragon, with the promise of a life-sized fire-breathing dragon.
Dotty is a baby Fire Dragon. She lives in a dusty old castle with her grumpy dad, Mr Dragon. She loves to watch the children playing in the village below, and wishes she could play with them, too. One day Dotty has a brilliant idea – she will fly down to the village and say hello.
Established in 1998, the magical minds at Blunderbus have been creating theatrical experiences and providing memories for children and their families all around the world. They perform for more than 200,000 children each year, touring to theatres, arts centres, schools and festivals across the UK and to the exotic climes of Malaysia, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore with critically acclaimed shows such as How to Catch a Star, The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark and My Pet Monster and Me.
Bill Davies, artistic director of Blunderbus, says: “We’re all very excited and come rain or shine this summer is going to be a dragon sized success. I’m delighted we can visit so many beautiful venues with a story we’re very proud of.”
