The Noise Next Door is ready for Darlington

THE Noise Next Door, which includes North Yorkshire-born Tom Houghton, have extended their current UK tour, Noise in The Hood, to include Darlington's Seen nightclub on Sunday, February 14.

After selling out all their tours and Edinburgh Fringe runs for seven consecutive years with their Improv shows, the evening promises a parade of sharp suits, catchy songs, quickfire wit, rapport, banter and stories fromo towns far and wide.

Last year the lads popped up regularly on BBC1’s The One Show, worked with ITV2’s Britain’s Got More Talent and are developing a show with Channel 4.

In eight years, the laughter has covered 8000 miles with absolutely no script and just an uncanny knack of transforming audience suggestions into funny scenes and songs in the blink of an eye.

The five are: Charlie Granville from Brighton, with a taste for high society and the finer things in life. Sam Pacelli whose Italian heritage has instilled him with a fiery passion for life, a flagrant disregard for traffic laws and an uncontrollable need to offer parmesan and black pepper to anyone he sees eating. Tom Livingstone from the deepest, darkest corner of rural Devon proving that size did not always directly relate to suitability for manual labour. Tom is now technically the world’s most educated troll.

Matt Grant was born in Kenya and raised in Kent. When faced with a challenge, Matt either hunts the problem with a spear or holds a bake sale in its honour. Tom Houghton was raised on army bases all over the globe, where he learnt useful skills such as cheeky eyebrow raising, moisturising on a budget and the words to every Disney film.
