Sean Taylor's North-East dates

TO celebrate the release of The Only Good Addiction Is Love album, Sean Taylor will be touring the UK including Lindisfarne Festival on Saturday, September 5, and paying visits to Saltburn and Barnard Castle.

The new album has had an incredible response, airplay on BBC Radio 2 from three programmes, Bob Harris Sunday, The Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe and Paul Jones blues show. BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio nan Gaidheal, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Foyle and BBC Radio Ulster have also featured tracks.

Taylor is soon to start a European tour including shows in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France, including opening shows for John Mayall and Eric Bibb.

"Being an artist is about making connections. Sometimes the connections are straight forward like writing a love song when you’re in love or a song about being heartbroken when she’s gone. On my latest album I have searched for more abstract and demanding references. The album’s title is a quote from the former President of Uruguay Jose "Pepe" Mujica who gave 90 per cent of his salary to charity and refused to live in the presidential palace, preferring a farm with his wife and a three-legged dog," says Taylor
