Mini cycle festival at Stockton
GO Outdoors, the UK’s largest outdoor superstore, is holding a mini cycle festival on Saturday (August 1) at the retailer’s Stockton superstore, with a guest appearance from The Flying Scotsman, Graeme Obree, the British ex-world record holder and world champion cyclist.
The full day of festivities will include a bouncy castle, face painter and in store treasure hunt. Another highlight of the day will be Rollapaluza, a high intensity stationary bike race where Stockton locals can compete against each other for the title of GO Outdoors Ultimate Champion. There will be an offer of 20 per cent off all cycles and cycle accessories for the weekend and a chance to win a bike up to the value of £1,000 on the Saturday.
The expanded Stockton store at Ascot Drive, Portrack Lane, TS18 2QQ, is one of three of its kind which now holds more than 100 different models of bikes including Calibre bikes, from the company's award-winning in-house team of experienced product developers and biking enthusiasts.
Graeme Obree says: “I’m glad to be able to help GO Outdoors celebrate its growing cycling departments. It’s great to see so many people taking up the sport and to have a superstore like this means you can find the equipment that suits your needs.”
