THE national TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent is back on the road once again and will be kicking off its search for the stars of tomorrow with a visit to James' Park, Newcastle next month before moving on to ten other cities across the UK and Ireland.

This year’s winners, musical theatre boy band Collabro, were crowned in front of an audience of 13million viewers and secured a No1 hit with their debut album Stars. The band will also be touring next year alongside fellow 2014 finalist Lucy Kay, who is set to release her debut album, Fantasia, later this month.

Other success stories from last year include musical duo Bars & Melody whose single, Hopeful, reached number five in the chart in July, and swing band Jack Pack, who have recently signed a deal to release a debut album next year.

The show is open to any performer of any age – all they need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress the judges. Comedians, contortionists, dancers, drag acts, acrobats and dancing with animals have all won through after applying via itv.com/talent

Susan Boyle went on to sell more than 23 million records worldwide; Diversity have had five sell-out nationwide tours; Paul Potts has sold 27 platinum records worldwide and Ashleigh and Pudsey have made a movie.

The show returns to ITV next year.
