YOU can see the headline in The Soapland Sun – Cameron In Secret Love Tryst. No, not that Cameron, but the one in Emmerdale (ITV1) whose girlfriend has got herself pregnant by her ex-husband in a bid to produce a suitable bone marrow donor for her sick daughter. Isn’t life complicated?

Cameron and Chas (no one calls her by her real name of Chastity for obvious reasons) finally get to grips in the cellar of the Woolpack. Love among the beer barrels, you might say.

Well, it’s one way of putting a head on a pint of best bitter.

Cameron has been twitchy ever since Handy Andy proved his handiness by getting Cameron’s girlfriend Debbie in the family way.

Having your girlfriend pregnant by another man isn’t the ideal way to conduct a relationship, so Cameron has been looking for another outlet. Enter Chas, whose grip when pulling pints in the Woolpack has made many a lusty lad’s eyes water.

Cameron makes his move while she’s changing a barrel. The inevitable happens although Chas makes it clear that their coupling is a one-off because she doesn’t want to hurt her niece Debbie.

Some may say she should have thought about that before she dropped her drawers and rolled out the barrel.

Poor Cameron is torn two ways with a leg, so to speak, in both camps – he loves Debbie, but lusts after Chas.

But who will he choose? The one with better access to free beer, I reckon.

Bed-hopping in Coronation Street (ITV1) too. And once again the couple in question are trying to contain their passion and be responsible adults. Some hope when Karl and Sunita are involved.

When girlfriend Stella throws him out of the Rovers again, gambling man Karl falls into the arms and cleavage of Sunita. You can’t blame her for looking for some extra-curricula activity as the main man in her life is Dead Loss Dev, the corner shop man whose life revolves around buy one, get one free.

Sunita deserves some excitement in her life although all she gets to begin with is Karl crying on her shoulder pads. One thing lead to another and a touch of the other. Well, more than a touch as the pair sleep together.

But Sunita wants to remain friends with Stella and Stella makes it up with Karl. But with Sunita working behind the bar at the Rovers, there’s plenty of opportunity to do a Cameron-and-Chas and have a spot of rumpy-pumpy at the pumps.

Money, not sex, is the talk at the Queen Vic in Walford.

Michael strikes up a friendship with Jean after his fiancee Janine demands he signs a pre-nuptial agreement to ensure he can’t get his hands on her money in EastEnders (BBC1).

To make sure his bank balance stays in the black, he gets chatting to Jean and even helps her make one of her sausage surprises (and what a surprise) in the Vic.

It’s certainly better than Ian’s sausage surprise which doesn’t involve food at all.

Michael’s aware that Jean has spare cash after her lottery win and he takes it upon himself to offer her advice on investing it – and we know it’ll end up in his pocket.
