A BAND has battled through a tough audition process to reach the finals of a nationwide competition.
Sound-waves and Escapades, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire, have made it to the final of the Live and Unsigned competition, which will be held at the IndigO2 Arena, in London, on July 10.
The band have competed against thousands of other acts from across the country.
The winners will receive a recording and management contract, equipment and the opportunity to develop a clothing brand.
Chris Grayston, of Live and Unsigned, said: “We are all about originality, live ability and credibility.
“It is a fantastic achievement to make it to the grand final, and there are plenty of opportunities for all acts taking part, not just for the winner.”
The competition website is at liveand unsigned.uk.com
