FOLLOWING in the steps of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and Kate Mosse's Labyrinth, white witch Titania Hardie treads the familiar trail of adventure, romance and apocalyptic revelation, as young and beautiful documentary producer Lucy King seeks to discover the secrets which Elizabethan magus John Dee hid from the world in his Rose Labyrinth.
It's a magical mystery tour replete with the arcane and the mystical, alive to the forces of history and aware of beauty and evil. There is also a strong romantic element, too strong at times, but this is more than offset by the interactive element of the book - including riddles, maps and number puzzles, which allow the reader to join the quest.
