GORDON SOUTHERN is the international word clown – that's what he calls himself anyway. His upbeat and energetic delivery combined with fantastically funny observational comedy and quick-witted improvisation has secured his place as an audience favourite all over the world.

He is one of the busiest comics in the UK playing everywhere worth playing and is a regular at the world famous London Comedy Store. He is a talented actor and an award winning writer, writing for shows such as The 11 O’Clock Show (Channel 4), The Good Stuff (ITV) and The Sunday Show (BBC).

Gordon made his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut in the highly respected Comedy Zone in 1997 and has since gone on to take up several successful and acclaimed solo shows, with 2012’s A Brief History of History receiving award nominations at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. He has enjoyed sell out runs at the Melbourne international Comedy Festival from 2011- 2016.
