JUST a reminder that the closing date for entries to our Room To Write Short Story Competition is coming up, so get those entries packaged up and sent (together with a £5 cheque payable to Room to Write) to Gillian Wales, Room To Write, Briarhurst, Byron Avenue, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 5AP.
Entries must be typed, single-sided, double-spaced, font size 12, with pages numbered. The title should be the only identifying mark.
The maximum word count is 1,500 words and the closing date is August 1. First prize is £200, second £100, third £50. A separate cover page should have the title, the word count and your name, address and contact details.
