A TRAINING charity has launched new courses to retrain workers and improve industry skills.
The TTE Technical Training Group, in South Bank, near Middlesbrough, is working with bodies including the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board.
Bosses say courses will be held from September, covering health and safety, engineering maintenance, process operations and first aid.
The charity has more than 20 years experience providing specialist technical training to the oil and gas, manufacturing, engineering and chemical industries.
Steve Grant, managing director, said: “Our short courses support the continuous development of industry professionals.
“With rapid developments being made in health and safety, technology, management and engineering, it is vital employees are constantly re-skilled to remain at the cutting edge of the industry.”
Earlier this year, TTE was praised for its training provision for international technicians by the Independent Inspectorate of Schools (ISI).
